"You control your allergies,
allergies do not control you”.
Do you live in fear every day?
Are you confused with all the advice out there? Do you live with anxiety and feeling overwhelmed? Well this is where I can help, I understand the pressure of living life with food allergies whilst trying to educate others around you. I offer bespoke allergy coaching to suit your specific needs. The tools and techniques I use allow me to support you and help you navigate through life, managing allergies, your emotions before or after an allergy diagnosis, and helping you to have a full and inclusive life as possible. |
Our son Ash was diagnosed with multiple food allergies at the age of 7 months, our whole life changed, it took a while for us to realise the impact of the diagnosis. Following medical advice we started to make changes to the food we bought and ate, we would spend hours searching for foods that we could eat, searching for recipes that we could find to make him meals, explaining allergies to friends and family, not going on holidays, explaining to nurseries, avoiding indoor play areas, not being able to eat out as a family, everything took a toll on my own mental wellbeing, I felt overwhelmed, anxious and I was living in constant fear no one understood what I was going through.
Then, suddenly our world changed again in 2015 when my younger brother was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. I accepted I could not go on living this way. There was so much uncertainty and the road ahead was going to be difficult & emotional, all I knew is that my brother needed my support. Thankfully I had this realisation and reached out for help, an ex-colleague was now an NLP Coach and he offered to help. I attended one of his weekend workshops and that one weekend changed my life, I learnt so much about me.
I decided progress further and learn the tools and techniques that I could apply to my daily life to create a happier and healthier family life, for me this was now extremely important as I recognised that my family starts with me.
Now I have the skills and the experience to help you, I have become more confident and took charge of my journey. It was a lot of hard work but I’m happy to say I have grown as a person and definitely not the same person I was in 2014.
